Ozzy Osburne’s sisters recall their last meeting
The singer did a farewell show before his death
English music legend Ozzy Osburne passed away at the age of 76 on July 22.
The news was announced by his family who said the late singer was surrounded by his family in his last moments.
Now, the singer’s sisters have spoken about his death and their last meeting.
Before Ozzy’s death, he performed one final show at Villa Park three weeks ago with his band Black Sabbath.
His siters, Jean Powell and Gillian Hemming, who referred to the musician as “Our John”, said they met him last time at that very final show.
“We just can’t believe he is gone and we won’t be getting another phone call or text from him.”, Gillian told The Mirror.
Remembering their late brother she said he would stay in touch. “Every week without fail he would get in touch, either by phone or text, to ask how we were all doing and what was going on.”
Jean added that he still had plans saying “He was frail but it still came as a shock. He still had plans and things he wanted to do.”
