Dawn O'Porter has disclosed that she is secretly impoverished and finds it difficult to make ends meet, despite being married to one of Hollywood's most successful comedy actors, who is worth millions of pounds.
The 46-year-old author and TV host, who married Bridesmaids star Chris O'Dowd in 2012, claims that despite her best efforts to pay her rent and bills, her bank card was recently declined.
“I work pay cheque to pay cheque,' said Dawn, 46. 'I'm always broke. My card got declined last week. I'm like, what the f*** is happening? When will this end?”
Following eight years in Los Angeles, Dawn moved back to London last summer with Chris and their two kids, Art, who is eleven, and Valentine, who is eight.
"I've never seen myself as a celebrity," she clarified in an interview with the White Wine Question Time podcast. I don't believe either Chris, or I have ever considered us celebrities, despite the fact that we are married to a well-known actor.
Dawn O’Porter is a British TV presenter, documentary filmmaker, and author. She's known for shows like Super Slim Me and bestselling books like The Cows and So Lucky.
