Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s upscale Montecito community is on high alert following one of the strongest earthquakes ever recorded in decades in Russia.

According to The Mirror, the National Tsunami Warning Centre issued advisories for much of the U.S. west coast, including Santa Barbara County, where the Duke and Duchess of Sussex live with their two children, Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4.

While no evacuations have been ordered, residents have been warned to avoid beaches and stay away from water, as dangerous conditions could persist for hours.

This isn’t the first time Harry and Meghan’s $14.6 million Los Angeles estate has faced natural disaster threats. Earlier this year, they were reportedly preparing to evacuate during California’s devastating wildfires. At the time, their home was in a “High Fire Risk Area” and faced potential power shut-offs as a preventative measure.

The Sussexes purchased their Montecito mansion in 2020 after stepping back from royal life. Per Zillow, the property’s value has since more than doubled, now estimated at over $29 million — a staggering increase of nearly £11.6 million.
