Marilyn Manson pays tribute to Ozzy Osbourne after his funeral

Metal rock legend Ozzy Osbourne passed away on July 22 at the age of 76.

The singer left the world leaving behind a legacy of music that pulled thousands in the streets of Birmingham to attend his funeral procession on July 29.

After the funeral procession, a private ceremony was held in Ozzy’s family's mansion in Buckinghamshire.

Many celebrities attended the private ceremony which included rock royalties like Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, Corey Taylor and Irish actor Stephen Rea.

Marilyn took to Instagram to finally share his grief with the fans as he wrote a heart warming tribute to the Prince of Darkness.

“Today we laid to rest a beloved friend. I am eternally grateful that you let me into your life Ozzy.”, he wrote.

The music legend also called him an inspiration saying “Your inspiration and love will always be with me.”.

He further thanked Ozzy’s family for the ceremony as he wrote “Thank you Sharon and family for a reverent, beautiful ceremony.”.

Marilyn ended his note with “Your legacy lives on”.

Ozzy was buried in the estate as per his last wish.
