Ariana Grande made a strong return to the global music chart last week, just as excitement grows for Wicked Part Two.
The 32-year-old artist is actively promoting the next chapter of the highly anticipated film, yet it's her earlier work that's capturing renewed interest.
Her single We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love), first released in early 2024, has climbed back onto both the Billboard Global 200 and the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts.
Upon debut, it reached the top spot on both listings and has now accumulated 71 total weeks across each, marking it as one of her most lasting successes.
Despite not releasing any new tracks recently, her catalog continues to attract strong international streams and purchases.
Throughout her career, she has secured four number-one entries on the Global 200, while three of her songs have led the Global Excl. U.S. chart, which tracks popularity outside the United States.
Alongside her chart resurgence, the Swindle star will return to cinemas this November, reprising her role in the second installment of the Wicked saga.
