Netflix's chart-topping hit movie the K-Pop Demon Hunters already has several reasons to take it to the next level.
The blockbuster animated film, which premiered on Friday, June 20, follows the storyline of the K-Pop girl group HUNTR/X, who secretly battle demons while performing as pop stars.
According to the latest reports of The Wrap, the streamer is now greenlighting two more sequels to the highly anticipated musical fantasy, for continuing the success of the first film.
Reportedly, the Netflix most-watched movie has gained 26.3 million views since its release.
In addition, the film's soundtrack reached number one on Billboard's Soundtracks chart and number eight on the all-genre Billboard 200.
The makers of the fantasy movie hope that it will become big and popular as the Frozen as they plans to turn it into live action sequel, a musical stage show and television series.
Notably, the competitors, the Saja Boys, gained more applause from viewers than the film's protagonist girl band Huntrix.
The must watch animated film the K-Pop Demon Hunters is directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans.
