Lewis Capaldi has opened up about his struggle with health issues and music comeback.
The singer said the tragic Glastonbury performance saved his life as he had to take a step back and focus on himself.
The Scottish singer also revealed that weeks before the appearance, he had a attack worse than that one.
The 2023 performance was labeled by him “the most important day” of his life as he significantly changed after that.
“So, Glastonbury 2023 was, for sure, really important - maybe the most important day in my life.”, he said.
He added “I don't want to think of where I would be now if I'd continued. We were meant to go to Australia. It could have been really, really horrible. I dread to think what would have happened.”
In 2023, at the Glastonbury festival, Lewis had a breakdown while performing amid his struggles with Tourette's Syndrome and anxiety.
“In a weird way, it's probably the best thing that's ever happened to me. I wouldn't have stopped otherwise.”
After that he took a two year break and focus on his health and well being and made a comeback at 2025 festival at Worty Farms in June.
