American music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs’ trial began on May 12 that went on for several weeks.
Eventually, on July 2, the jury announced their verdict.
Diddy was found guilty of 2 charges meanwhile he was acquitted on three charges.
In the most recent update on the rapper’s case, who is currently awaiting his sentence right now that is scheduled for October, he has been denied bail by court.
His team made a request for him to be released on $50 million bail while he waits for his sentencing in October.
The musician’s legal team also requested for a retrial hoping that his conviction could be overturned.
The prosecution is also seeking the maximum sentencing for the disgraced rapper on the two prostitution-related charges.
The sentencing is scheduled for October 3 as Diddy is also hoping to get presidential pardon from his old friend Donald Trump.
As the musician was convicted on two charges of transportation for prostitution, Diddy might face up to a decade in prison.
