Though this month isn’t all about fiction, fans of reality TV will see the return of Perfect Match: Season 3.

My Oxford Year (Aug. 1)

Rom-com lovers and sophomore romance fans, don’t miss My Oxford Year, a dreamy start to August based on Julia Whelan’s beloved novel.

Brought to you by the producers of The Fault in Our Stars, this new romance flick stars Bridgerton’s Corey Mylchreest and Descendants star Sofia Carson.

My Oxford Year starts streaming on Netflix from August 1.

Perfect Match: Season 3 (Aug. 1)

Reality TV fans, get ready for the messy, spicy chaos of Perfect Match is back for Season 3!

This addictive series brings together stars from your favourite dating shows, including Love Island, The Bachelor, and Temptation Island, to see who can actually find love... or at least some chemistry.

Season 3 teases some familiar faces too, including Bachelor exes Rachel Recchia and Clayton Echard.

Wednesday: Season 2, coming to Netflix on Aug. 6, promises to focus more on the titular character's psychic abilities.

The Fast and the Furious Franchise (Aug. 16)

The Vin Diesel-starring hit franchise Fast and Furious is coming to Netflix with almost all of its instalments.

Now, you can experience the furiously fast and high-octane action at home with Diesel, Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez, and the rest of the cast.

The Thursday Murder Club (Aug. 28)

Crime and mystery-obsessed audiences have something more from Netflix, the highly anticipated book-to-screen adaptation of The Thursday Murder Club.

It follows the story of a group of retirement home residents whose mystery genre book club turns into a real-life murder investigation. The cosy mystery stars bona fide legends Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan, Celia Imrie, and Ben Kingsley.

My Life with the Walter Boys: Season 2 (Aug. 28)

The fan-loved brother love triangle is returning to Netflix for Season 2.

My Life with the Walter Boys will show Jackie (Nikki Rodriguez) once again contend with her burgeoning love for both Alex (Ashby Gentry) and Cole (Noah LaLonde).

After the cliffhanger ending kiss of Season 1, the three characters are set to make big decisions in the upcoming season.

My Life with the Walter Boys: Season 2 will start streaming on August 28 on Netflix.
