Blake Lively is under fire for the list of people she plans to subpoena for her bombshell case against Justin Baldoni.
The Gossip Girl alum has reportedly asked a group of journalists and small creators to take the stand, in a shock legal move.
The 37-year-old attempted to get the personal information of YouTubers supporting the It Ends With Us actor by contacting Google.
Recently, a crisis PR expert Eric Schiffer discussed the bizarre move with Daily Mail, saying, 'Dragging micro-creators into court over chit-chat is nuclear overkill that screams bully, not brilliance.”
The content creators contacted include Candace Owens, Andy Signore and a handful others, who the expert warns could make their fans turn into haters of Lively.
'Blake's subpoena blitz paints her with some as a toxic diva mugging creators,' the CEO of Reputation Management Consultants stated.
The move is also damaging to Blake’s image as a wholesome and approachable figure in Hollywood.
In fact, it is so incriminating, according to Schiffer, that Baldoni does not need to make attempts to actively counter it.
In 2024, the Betty Buzz owner complained about feeling uncomfortable while filming It Ends With Us along with the director of the movie.
She later filed a lawsuit against Baldoni, further accusing him of organising a smear campaign to defame her.
The Jane the Virgin actor denied the allegations and responded with a $400 million defamation lawsuit, which has now been dismissed.
