Grammy-nominated band Jonas Brothers have revealed the “alternative truth” they tell their kids for their own betterment while sharing their fatherhood journey.

PEOPLE obtained a clip from the new episode of Mythical Kitchen's Last Meals, where Nick, Kevin, and Joe Jonas sat down with host Josh Scherer.

The brothers joined the show to get candid about Greetings From Your Hometown and their 20th anniversary tour.

While speaking, the musicians talked about fatherhood and what their lives are like as fathers, starting with Kevin, who shared that he recently had to lie to his daughters about marshmallow fluff.

"My kids just discovered fluff," said Kevin, who is the father of two daughters, Valentina, 8, and Alena, 11, whom he shares with Danielle Jonas.

"It's dangerous ... but that's a one-and-done," he added, referring to the marshmallow crème. "They don't sell it anymore, is what I'm going with."

The host asked how often the girls’ dads lie, and the pop-rock sibling trio revealed their thoughts on dealing with kids and lying.

"I try not to lie to them at all," Nick replied, before Kevin quickly shared, "I lie a lot."

"There are times you have to sort of give an alternate truth, [or] a different path," said Nick, who shares his daughter Malti, 3, with wife Priyanka Chopra Jonas. "Because, you know, it's not a big enough thing to have the house crumble, but just little things — like bribing a 3½-year-old to get off the iPad is a thing. It takes a lot of focus and self-belief."

Adding to his brother Nick's thoughts, Joe explained his approach to lying to his daughters Delphine, 3, and Willa, 5, whom he shares with ex-wife Sophie Turner.

"I try not to," Joe said. "I mean, they're not watching this, but you know, there are a few characters that we all get presents from that they may think exist. That would be a healthy fib, I think."
