Prince William remains deeply hurt by past events and blames Meghan for driving a wedge between him and Harry
Meghan Markle is being painted as the key obstacle preventing a reconciliation between Prince Harry and the royal family, according to royal commentator Charles Rae.
Speaking to GB News, Rae claimed the Duchess of Sussex is “the fly in the ointment” who would ultimately influence whether Harry reconciles with his estranged relatives.
Rae suggested Prince William remains deeply hurt by past events and blames Meghan for driving a wedge between him and Harry.
This comes after reports surfaced that senior aides for Harry and King Charles held a discreet peace summit in London last week, fuelling speculation that a truce could finally be on the horizon for father and son.
Meanwhile, veteran royal photographer Arthur Edwards said it would be a “big moment” if Meghan ever set foot on British soil again, admitting he would be “surprised” if she returned at all.
Prince Harry has repeatedly cited security concerns as a barrier to bringing Meghan and their children, Archie and Lilibet, back to the UK, insisting they can’t visit safely without police protection.
