Britney Spears’ iconic asset from spiraling days to be auctioned

Britney Spears is one of the most famous musicians of the 21st century, aptly known as the Princess of Pop.

The pop princess’ belongings are just as well known as she is and this one thing is notoriously associated with her days of downfall.

The singer’s famous black Mercedes is set to be auctioned after almost 15 years on display at a museum.

During her dark phase when she struggled with a lot of issues in 2007, Britney was often photographed in the 2006 Mercedes-Benz CLK350. She was always followed by photographers during that time and was even involved in a hit-and-run incident in August 2007.

Mostly famous event associated with this car is the time Britney got out of it and hit a paparazzo's car with an umbrella when she had recently shaved her head.

The car is now set to be auctioned after spending 15 years in the Volo Auto Museum in Illinois.

The museum will be putting multiple items up for auction between 1 and 7 August, according to TMZ.
