Diddy, who was found guilty on two counts in federal case, came up with new claims ahead of sentencing in October.
While the 55-year-old has been declared "not guilty" on three counts, Diddy is denying other convictions as well.
The rapper’s defence team filed a motion to completely clear off the charges against Diddy or hold a new trial all together.
According to the court documents, his attorneys claim that the musician did not earn anything from prostitution, engaged in an intimate relationship or committed transportation.
They pointed out that the sex workers, Jane (pseudonym) and his former girlfriend Cassie Ventura did not testify about the Bad Boy Records owner being involved with prostitutes.
The lawyers insisted that Diddy only observed or filmed the alleged “freak-off sessions” which involved Cassie and other women.
It was highlighted that many courts have declared “voyeurism… to watch other people have sex… is not prostitution.”
The complaint alleged that the male escorts were enjoying “the activities” and were friends with “[Cassie and ‘Jane’].”
Previously, the Victory crooner requested the judge to release him on a $50 million bond before the upcoming sentencing.
As the musician was convicted on two charges of transportation for prostitution, Diddy might face up to a decade in prison.
