Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively reportedly saw each other for a legal matter pertaining to the It Ends With Us trial, which is set to take place in March of 2026.
After the massive snub by the judge overlooking the case, Lewis J. Liman, who ruled that the Green Lantern actress could decide the place of her deposition, the director made decided to make sure to be present for the occasion.
The Jane The Virgin alum was in the room when his lawyers questioned the A Simple Favor star in New York City on Thursday, July 31 as per a TMZ report.
However, the 37-year-old likely knew about the Five Feet Apart director’s appearance in advance, since it was one of the key aspects of the protective order issued to her.
Blake was to be notified of all those who would be attending the deposition by Justin’s legal team by July 15, after they opposed her motion seeking the order.
The Gossip Girl alum will be going to court next year since she has accused the 41-year-old of sexual harassment and retaliation.
Notably, Justin had filed a countersuit against Blake and her husband Ryan Reynolds in response, which has been dismissed.
The court ruling, declaring the $400 million defamation case lacks evidence of alleged defamation, was called a “total victory” for Blake.
