Prince Harry's shocking new demand for peace with King Charles revealed

Prince Harry’s path to reconciliation with King Charles may finally be underway, but not without conditions.

Just last week, a secret meeting between senior aides from both camps took place at London’s exclusive Royal Over-Seas League, near Buckingham Palace. 

On Harry’s side were Meredith Maines, chief communications officer, and Liam Maguire, his UK PR lead, while King Charles was represented by communications secretary Tobyn Andreae.

While details remained scarce, sources have now revealed Harry’s key demand in these peace talks: the Duke of Sussex reportedly wants direct updates about King Charles’s health as the monarch continues cancer treatment.

According to The Mirror, Harry, 40, is also willing to “stop ambushing” the Royal Family with surprise announcements, a move that has long fuelled tensions.

An insider said: “For there to be any chance of moving forward... trust has to be rebuilt, and Team Sussex knows the onus is on them.” 

The source added that Harry seeks more transparency between London and California over family matters and event timings.

Harry is believed to have last seen his father in February 2024 after Charles’s cancer diagnosis. 

It remains unclear whether father and son have spoken since last week’s meeting, but royal watchers see this as a critical step toward healing the years-long rift.
