The trial of rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is facing multiple changes of trafficking, violence and racketeering, has entered its fourth week.
The trial began on May 12 with opening statements from both sides as the prosecution accused Diddy of running a sex enterprise, meanwhile defense team argued that all activities carried out in Diddy’s infamous “freak-offs” were consensual.
In the fourth week of trial, Diddy’s former personal assistant, going by the pseudonym Mia, will continue her testimony.
Mia has accused the disgraced rapper of sexual violence and assault as her accusation of forced labour is specially crucial in the racketeering charges against him.
On the other hand, the president of the Unites States Donald Trump, who is an old friend of Diddy, has said that he will “look at the facts” to consider presidential pardon for him.
Rapper 50 Cent, who has been taking digs at Diddy on his social media, has said that he will talk to Trump and prevent any presidential pardons.
Diddy’s trial is scheduled to go on for eight weeks and if found guilty the rapper can face up to life in prison.
Sean “Diddy” Combs is best known as a rapper, record producer, executive and businessman.
