The cooking show co-hosts, Gregg Wallace and John Torode have disgracefully been taken off of the renowned MasterChef series.

In a shocking move, only a day after the 60-year-old was fired over multiple allegations against him being proven true, the 59-year-old was also let go over the use of racist language, which is not too different from the former’s use of inappropriate language use.

The producers of the show Banijay U.K. and the broadcasting company BBC announced that a 2018 complaint over Torode using a highly offensive racist term, after the Lewis Silkins investigations report into the incident that occurred in 2018.

“We will not tolerate racist language of any kind and, as we have already said, we told Banijay U.K., the makers of ‘MasterChef,’ that action must be taken. John Torode’s contract on ‘MasterChef’ will not be renewed,” the channel noted in a statement.

Meanwhile Torode has denied having any recollection of the occurrence in which he used offensive language.

The celebrity chef was being investigated alongside Wallace, against whom more than half of the allegations of use of inappropriate language were substantiated.

No, Gregg Wallace has not yet issued a response to the Lewis Silkins report that has concluded the investigation against him.
